It was the Directors of the magazine Leisure Review who made the selection. The Leisure Review is a well-respected journal with a national base of subscribers, so Ray and Michele were delighted to be chosen against competition from all over the UK.

Dear Ray and Michele,
I just wanted to thank you both for giving us such a wonderful evening last night at Cafe Pierre - everyone is buzzing about it and it will certainly be something we will remember for a long time. There was such a varied programme and something for all. You really brought Cafe Pierre alive and I for one felt I could be in a Parisian cafe/bar. We will certainly want an "encore" from you in the not too distant future.

Dear Ray,
Thank you very much for giving us a free performance with your accordion on 9th May at our Open Exhibition in Cowbridge Halls.

Although there were few visitors to the exhibition that evening those who stayed away missed a treat. We think it makes for a lovely atmosphere to hear such delightful music whilst looking round the exhibition. I shall keep your card so that we can contact you again should we have a suitable event for your excellent music.
